We offer expertly curated gifting guides for various occasions with quality, highly recommended products that our readers may not consider or easily find. We make finding the perfect gift easy, fast, and seamless, so you don't get lost in the black hole of online shopping, or have to keep up with 30 different influencers to stay in the know.
how it started
It all began when GiftRibbn founder, Damola Omotosho, realized there was a gap in the market for getting help with personalized gift giving. He knew that there are many consumers like himself, who don’t enjoy shopping, don’t know what’s trending, and don’t have time to spend getting lost in online mass retailers. He longed for a service similar to the customized attention received from a personal stylist, but applied to the events and people who matter most in your life. Living in the Portland metro area, Damola began to wonder how he could better stay connected to his big family on the east coast.
As gift giving is a main love language for many, Damola launched GiftRibbn and CardCraft to help others like himself find better gifts for their loved ones. As the blog continues to grow, he is working on building an app version that would allow readers to not just shop suggestions, but get a more customized and personal experience tailored to unique personalities, relationships, and events.
